基于Loop细分格式的虚拟作物果实建模

摘要:
为真实模拟作物果实以增强虚拟作物环境的真实感,提出一种基于Loop细分格式的虚拟作物果实建模方法。根据果实形态结构特征建立相应的控制网格,定义适当的细分规则生成果实模型,并扩充已有的细分规则实现对果实非光滑特征的模拟。对小麦和玉米果实形态建模的实例表明,本方法用于作物果实建模效果逼真,满足虚拟作物环境的需要。

Modeling of virtual crop fruit based on loop subdivision scheme
Abstract:
In order to simulate the crop fruit and make the virtual crop environment more realistic, an approach for modeling the virtual crop fruit based on loop subdivision scheme is proposed. It creates models of fruit by constructing control mesh according to the features of the configuration of the fruit and defining proper subdivision rules. New rules are added to the existing ones to solve the problem of simulating non-smooth features of the fruit. The modeling of wheat fruit and corn fruit is realized by Java3D API. The experimental results show that this method used for modeling crop fruit gives a verisimilitude solution, which can meet the needs of a virtual crop environment.
