| Phytophthora blight caused by Phytophthora capsici is one of the most economically de structive diseases in many pepper growing areas. Researches in the pathogen, resistance in capsicum, re sistance assesment, inheritance of resistance and screening methods for resistant materials, and achiev ments of breeding for resistant varieties were reviewed. The discussion focused on the exsisting problems in the researches and their solving measures. |
