|Abstract:The plastic film collected as strips or stacks by raker is incompact and take up large space, and its transportation and storage cost high and there exists burning pollution. To solve these problems, the residual film picking and packing machine was designed, and the key component, compressing and molding system, was mainly studied. According to the residual film compression characteristic test and the drop bag test, the optimal operating pressure of the residual film press molding was 7Mpa, and the hydraulic pump system was designed. In order to automatically compress and mold residual plastic film, the control system based on PLC was designed and the flowchart of softwarecontrol was conducted. The field experiment was committed in the GongQingTuan Farm of Xinjiang Corps, and results showed that the residual film baler has a good working performance, the success rate of the residual film forming was 88%, and the forming time was 38.6s, which could meet the requirements of field operations.
