基于DMSP/OLS和NPP/VIIRS数据的新疆城市扩展时空变化研究

摘要:
基于DMSP/OLS和NPP/VIIRS 2 种夜间灯光数据,借助ArcGIS和Matlab软件,对新疆1993—2018年城市扩展时空演变进行了研究,同时,采用平均夜间灯光指数、4种城市扩展度量指标、标准差椭圆法和城市空间形态指数来分析新疆城市扩展动态变化和演变特征。结果表明:1)近25年来新疆城市化水平不断提高,城市夜间灯光面积的增长量为9 865 km2,其中2013年“一带一路”倡议的时代背景下新疆城市发展很快,扩展速率达到1 222.2 km2/a,是1993—1998年的9.7倍,动态变化最明显。2)1993—2018年新疆城市规模标准差椭圆的面积与重心移动方向有显著变化,在每个时期标准差椭圆的长轴方向由东北—西南走向,重心移动距离呈现先缩短后增长的趋势。3)新疆城市空间形态处于既不稳定且复杂的状态,外延式扩展较明显,城市空间形状的不规则性强,破碎程度较高,呈日益复杂。因此,利用夜间灯光数据对优化区域城市的空间开发和扩展格局具有科学性和可行性,对新疆城市扩展研究在“一带一路”倡议的实践中具有指导意义。

Study on the spatiotemporal changes of Xinjiang urban expansion based on DMSP/OLS and NPP/VIIRS data

Abstract:
Based on DMSP/OLS and NPP/VIIRS night-time lighting data, with the help of ArcGIS and Matlab software, the spatial and temporal evolution of Xinjiang's urban expansion from 1993 to 2018 was studied. Four kinds of urban expansion metrics, hotspot analysis and standard deviation ellipse method were used to analyze the dynamic changes and evolution characteristics of Xinjiang's urban expansion during this period. The results show: The area of Xinjiang's urban built-up area increased from 9 665 km2 from 1993 to 2018. Among them, Xinjiang's cities developed rapidly under the background of the “Belt and Road” initiative in 2013. Xinjiang's urban growth during 2013-2018 was 6 111 km2, which expanded The velocity reached 1 222. 2 km2/a, which was 9. 7 times higher than that in 1993-1998, and the dynamic change was most obvious. 2)From 1993 to 2018, the area of the standard deviation ellipse and the center of gravity movement of Xinjiang's city scales changed significantly. In each period, the long axis of the standard deviation ellipse moved from northeast to southwest; 3)The urban spatial form of Xinjiang is in an unstable and complex state, with extensive extension. The irregularity of the urban spatial shape is strong, the degree of fragmentation is high, and it is increasingly complex. In conclusion, the use of night-time lighting data reflected the scientific and feasibility of optimizing the spatial development and expansion pattern of regional cities. The study of urban expansion in Xinjiang has scientific significance in the practice of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
