Abstract:
To evaluate the energy efficiency of five main grape producing areas in China,a fusion method based on Data Envelopment Analysis and Stochastic Frontier approach (D&S) is applied to evaluate the energy efficiency of grape production in this study.Different models were analyzed and validated. The results showed:The energy efficiency value of Shandong,Jilin,Anhui,Gansu,Shaanxi provinces was 1,while the value of Ningxia,Jiangsu and Yunnan was the lowest;Energy efficiency of grape in northern region was higher than in the southern region ranking North China,Northeast,Northwest,South China,Southwest; The energy efficiency calculated in D&S and DEA method displayed remarkable consistency. The D&S method avoided the deviation caused by production function setting and the parameter distribution compared with SFA method. And it preserved better stability compared with the traditional DEA method. In conclusion,D&S method is a reasonable and better energy efficiency evaluation method.
