Abstract:
Green roof has the effects of reducing building energy consumption and improving the ecological environment. This article used EnergyPlus to simulate the annual energy consumption of the selected cities' office building with different of green roof parameters. These cities were selected from different climatic zones. The purpose of this article is to study energy saving rate of plant roof and to analyze the way that key parameters impact on energy consumption.Compare the energy consumption of green roof with that of the ordinary roof,it shows that the largest annual energy-saving rate of green roofs in Beijing,Chongqing and Guangzhou is 8.66%,14.05% and 10.48%.Analysis the effects of soil thickness, plant height,LAI on the energy consumption of green roof,we find that that low soil thickness and high plant height is helpful to reduce cooling energy consumption, high soil thickness and low plant height help reduce heating energy consumption.
