| A database search system providing with multimedia function based on the application of Powerbuilder 6.5 and SYBASE SQL Anywhere database was developed and realized. That system, besides providing with all traditional database search functions, provides with database dynamic maintenance function and the support function for displaying multimedia information. In this system many advanced function of Powerbuilder 6. 5 were fully utilized, words, pictorial and video materials can be put together successfully, not only satisfied all needed functions of that system, but gives users aesthetic feelings. |
