| Factors influencing the successful inoculation of black rot (C. fimbriata) of sweet potato (I. batatas),as well as the optimum predisposing conditions. requirement of storage roots to be inoculated, and the proper use of the standard resistant and susceptible checks were studied. Based on the results obtained, a standard procedure for the operation of proper testing of resistance of sweet potato to black rot was established, so as to ensure reliable results. |
