| An adjective is a word used to describe or give more information about a noun,a word that qualifies a noun,adds to its meaning but limits its sphere of application.So some subtle changes in the use of an adjective,especially in its positions in a sentence may cause unexpected results.This article deals with the position of adjectives.An adjective,when used in different positions in a sentence,that is,as attributive or predicative,as prepositive or postposi- tive,may much affect its meaning greatly. |
