| Rapid propagation of shoot tips of three species of Rhododendron spp.was studied by adjusting the kinds and concentrations of hormones applicd to R. pulchrum,R.simsii and R.mucronulatum,2ip or Zeatin(ZT)was used for R. simsii and R.mucronulatum,but ZT for R.pulchrum.An average of 5 to 8 fold multiplication rate of shoots and an 8 to 12 fold multiplication rate of itiate stem sections of three rhododendron species were produced after 1.5 months of culture.The harvested shoots were rooted in R+IBA at 5mg/1+0.... |
