棉花四个栽培种纤维发育早期扫描电镜的比较研究

本文对陆地棉(北农—1),海岛棉(8763依),中棉(完县紫杆)及草棉(金塔)四个栽培种开花前后的胚珠进行扫描电镜比较观察。结果表明:开花当天在胚珠脊突处的表皮细胞首先分化突起,随后延至合点端和中部,最后在珠孔端,珠孔附近直到开花后数天未见突起。胚珠表皮细胞在突起前近似矩形或圆形,向外方突起时突起先呈球形,开花后两天伸长成纤维,先端变尖,四天时纤维把整个胚珠包被。观察8月19日开花当天早晨的胚珠,己见表皮有突起,而9月22日开花当天胚珠的表皮细胞则无突起,开花后一天才有突起。四个栽培棉种的胚珠在表皮细胞突起部位的先后和突起的时间上没有区别,但开花后两天突起的纤维,其长短、稀密、粗细等己初步显示各棉种的特征。
