| Abstract: |
| This review deals with the studies and advances of cyanogenic glycosides in plants.The major subjects of the literature are cyanogenic phenomenon(cyanogenisis)and the releasing of HCN durins the hydro- lysis of the glycosides,the chemical natures and the distribution of the glycosides in plants,the inheritance of cyanogenisig,the biosynthe- sis and transformation of the glycosides,as well as the toxicity to human beings and to herbivores. |
