| It was found that the formulas formerly derived by the author for canopy photosynthetic rate can be transformed into explicit expressions for the relative photosynthetic rate Pr and the relative whole day photosynthetic production Mr by taking the unknown factor kE_0 as undetermined unit.It was also found that Pr and Mr values are by themselves sufficient to solve the problem ofoptimum structure of crop canopies with respect to photosynthesis.
