| Abstract: |
| In veterinary anatomy it has been described that the insertion of the deep digital flexor tendon is distal phalanx.It was studied on the domestic animals,including:horses,donkeys,mule,cattle, sheep,goats,pigs,dogs,cats and rabbits.It was found that the distal extremity of the middle phalanx also have the insertion of the deep digital flexor tendon,which inserts on the adjacent surface of the ca- rtilage of the palmar(Plantar)plane.The colour of these tendon bra- nches is yellow and possesses elasticity. |
