摘要:
本文讨论了雄性不育系在自由异花授粉条件下的生物学意义。我们认为雄性不育性既不是畸形也不是病态现象,而是生物在进化过程中的一种适应性的反应。因为无论是雄性或雌性性器官的退化,都会迫使生物不得不进行异花授粉,从而增强有效地利用自然条件的本领。为此,育种者应充分利用不育系在异花授粉条件下形成的适应性。
